Ken Nilsen joined The Schultz Organization as Vice President/Property Management after holding senior management positions at several national commercial real estate firms. Ken oversees operations for the Property Management Group. For five years prior to joining The Schultz Organization, Ken held executive positions at GVA Williams, CB Richard Ellis and Wick Enterprises. As Senior District Manager at GVA Williams he was responsible for all operations throughout the New Jersey region. At CB Richard Ellis as Vice President, Senior Real Estate Manager from 1996 through 2000 he was responsible for overseeing 3 million square feet of office, industrial and warehouse space. In these positions he established and implemented policy decisions covering procedure, capital programs, due diligence, RFP process, ADA surveys, construction and staffing requirements. In addition, he was instrumental in assisting asset managers and property owners in formulating and implementing policy goals for both the short and long term. While serving as Vice President of Property Management at Wick Enterprises he rebuilt the property management division. Ken’s experience includes success as a property manager for Bender and Company, where he was responsible for budgeting, bid coordination and capital improvements for Metropolitan Corporate Plaza, a building that subsequently won the BOMA Building of the Year Award. Prior to joining Bender and Company, Ken worked for Lincoln Property Company and Cushman & Wakefield. He is an RPA candidate and was recognized by CB Richard Ellis as the Eastern Region Property Manager of the year for 1997. He currently holds a New Jersey Real Estate Sales License. In addition, Ken has been appointed Director for the new 2002 Slate of Officers for the New Jersey Chapter of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
